If you are having trouble with your belly dance shimmies; if you find that your shimmies get "stuck," if you struggle with layering, or just can't get your shimmies to look quite right; then our Unstoppable Shimmies class is for you. 

In this weekly class we will demystify important techniques for shimmies and other belly dance isolations and steps, and how to layer different types of shimmies over just about any other move! 

This class is also perfect if you're looking to break a sweat! It will definitely get your heart pumping for a great cardiovascular workout. 

You will learn: 

• Shimmy & isolation techniques 
• Shimmy & isolation drills
• Shimmy layering 
• Combinations
• 10-30 minutes of nonstop shimmies!

April 2, 9, 16, 23 (no class on April 30!)
May 7, 14, 21, 28
June 4, 11, 18
(Summer class dates will be announced towards the end of spring)

About the Teacher

Yamê is a belly dance performer and teacher with over 18 years’ experience. 

She is also a certified yoga teacher, breathing coach and a professional mermaid/underwater performer. 

She has a passion for learning, teaching and empowering clients with the tools they need to create peace and joy for themselves from the inside out. ​
