​To be a well-rounded raqs sharqi dancer it's important to be familiar with a few of the classics in Arabic music. 

If you want to explore complex techniques while developing your musicality and expression, this class is for you! 

In this 6-week intermediate level class series you will learn:

• Famous songs every belly dancer should know
• Their rhythmic structure and instrumentation
  
• Lyrical translation
  
• Possibilities for interpretation
• Complex belly dance techniques 
• Improvisation & choreography 

Series features: 

• 6x live & interactive classes on Zoom (75 minutes each)
• Small group, plenty of individual attention from teacher
• Class recap email & 2-5 min video of class topic after every class
• Chance to make up missed classes on another day before the end of the series
