Neuzy Cirino is a Brazilian artist, educator and a leading figure in Afro-diasporic culture, with a career marked by the appreciation of African ancestry, collective memories, and Black protagonism.
Working between Brazil and the United States, she develops projects that move between art and education, using traditional knowledge, orality, dance, performance, and Afro-Brazilian cultural practices as tools for strengthening identity and collective healing. Her work engages with women, Black communities, and educational spaces, promoting encounters that reclaim African history, aesthetics, and ancestral values in contemporary contexts of the Afro-Brazilian diaspora.
