Let loose and put your belly dance and/or drumming skills to use!
Let's move our bodies and play music together, in community with other likeminded women who share a passion for belly dance and Arabic music.
This is not a class! It's a 30-minute drum & dance circle open to women only, following our Tuesday Belly Dance Technique & Flow class.
No previous belly dance or drumming experience is necessary.
All levels are welcome, all dance styles are welcome, all hand drums are welcome, but we will be drumming mostly using Arabic rhythms or over belly dance songs.
Fall Drum & Dance Jam dates:
Sept 24
Oct 1, 8, 15, 22, 29,
Nov 5, 12, 19, (we're closed on Nov 26!)
Dec 3, 10, 17
(winter dates will be announced towards the end of the fall)
A 1x/week membership (or above) at SharqiDance is required to attend our jams.
